A butterfly!

I went for a walk with my walking friend and as we neared the 'Last Drop Village' we saw this Red Admiral sitting on a thistle!  I've been trying to get a butterfly for ages.  There are not many round here but maybe it's the beautiful day we are having that has brought them out! ! Also saw a brown one and a cabbage white!  They fluttered by much too fast!

The extra is the field where I found it which is just north of the Last Drop Village. You can just see the buildings.  They are due to make a first phase of 98 houses near this hotel complex!  The first 98 however are not due on this field !
