The Eyes Have It

Three years ago, our Local Council set aside areas in the local parks and green spaces for wild flower & bee conservation.

The first year there was quite a variety. The following year, the diversity was much reduced. 

This year it is virtually a mono-culture. Ox-eye daisies everywhere as far as the eye can see - you really have to look hard to find anything else.
