Girls

Here come the girls... it was our grand get together, the Hull girls - we left Hull Univ in 1998 after 4 years there so it's 20 years since we were there which seems incredible. We don't feel any different and decided we look just as good!! (that was after a few Pimms!) and the friendships we forged in those few years at 18 are lifelong.

I haven't seen the girls for well over a year but it was like we'd only seen each other last week. We're all busy with 8 children between us as well as busy jobs and some time away to just be the girls was very welcome. What a treat.

We met in London and had some drinks and a nice dinner in Elephant and Castle after I'd driven all the way into and across London (not sure I'd recommend it but I couldn't face the train and tubes).
We stayed at a friend's flat nearby and laughed and chatted until late, it was so good, food for the soul, uplifting and just what we all needed. ❤️
