Sitting watching the trains go by

Our first visit to the Maidstone Model Engineering Society in Mote Park this year. Always good for a blip. A challenge though as the light was so intense at 3.00pm in the afternoon, so a shade shot was called for which led to the background being washed out.

Apart from a hot walk around the park the day consisted of spending the morning at the Village Hotel with the annual Referees Society planning meeting which was concluded with a Sunday Lunch.

I was told about a recipe for Courgette and Boursin soup which I made this evening seeing as the courgette plants are beginning to get into their stride. Apart from the stock and cheese everything else came from the allotment: onions, garlic, the courgettes and potatoes. Labelled it up as Allotment Soup. Tasted pretty good even without the cheese.
