Kitchen window

My kitchen is the offshoot from the back of the house. It used to be 3 small rooms. A kitchen, a pantry then a washhouse. Years ago the pantry was converted in to a bathroom and the washhouse was a tiny bedroom. About 4 years ago all three rooms were knocked in to one and we put in a patio door and a new window. This is the old pantry window and it still has the wire mesh at the top so you could open the window but the flies would be kept out. It has a passion flower and a clematis growing on the walls outside. They need chopping back but I must admit I enjoy looking through the foliage as I look out. It gives me a great deal of pleasure.
