Convivial Saturday afternoon around Silverdale, catching up with old friends, expertly guided through the woods and coastal edgelands of Morecambe Bay.  At the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss, I was nudged into buying The Gathering Tide by Karen Lloyd, a book I am now thoroughly enjoying.
