Oak flowers

I find oak flowers quite fascinating, as they are so un-flower like and the ones on this particular tree are very long (10 to 15 cm) and look like decorations hanging from the tree (sort of).

My new phone has arrived and now I have the (maybe?) laborious task of changing everything from Apple to Android, re-finding all my favourite apps, re-syncing all my contacts, calendar etc. I thought long and hard before making this decision, so hopefully it will all be fine and I don't lose anything in the process. The camera looks good! I have taken a few sample shots, but haven't got to the downloading to computer part of the process yet.
