Sailing on Boleh

A wonderful day sailing in the Solent on the Boleh Yacht. She is a 40ft historic junk yacht built in Singapore by Malay shipwrights after World War II. Boleh (which means ‘can-do’ in Malay) was sailed to England by her owner and designer, Commander Robin Kilroy DSC in 1950.

Fantastic day with Castle friends courtesy of our Chief Exec whose a Trustee of the Boleh Trust. She was restored 10 years ago by a £800,000 heritage lottery grant.

Great to have a go skippering Boleh during a change of tack. Took me back to my boat PR days many years ago at Sunseeker.
