Bonsai

A trip to RHS Wisley resulted in a vast number of photos, of tiny plants, wonderful vistas, vast trees, swathes of roses, I have chosen one of the many Bonsai plants to represent the day.
My mother, a passionate gardener, feared her activities might be curtailed with increasing infirmities as she aged. So she planed to have doable gardening and embarked in Bonsai plants. She read in detail what was required for their successful development. Although I think she bought one or two that had been adapted, she also got some of her own plants and trimmed the roots and fixed them into their pots. She was a member of RHS and often talked of Wisley, so was much in my mind as we wandered round, highly appropriate as it was also her birthday.
