to Consider Pollen

In the last couple of days I have been asked a number of times about the colour of the pollen the bees have collected in their "pollen baskets" on their hind legs and its association with the flowers that have been visited.

There is one authority on this and she is Dorothy Hodges who wrote "The Pollen Loads of the Honey Bee"

The book was published in 1952 and I suspect that this is a first edition.
