Juvenile Blackbird

Walking around the garden, a couple of days ago, Marlane and I stood beside our rotting Eucylypt tree and a tail-less young blackbird flapped by our heads and landed on the trunk just by us.
Today it's been raining, raining, and more raining, but it's not cold so had the utility door open so the dogs could go in and out. I walked in there and for a second thought we had a Thrush in the garden but I think it's our young Blackbird.
He obligingly stayed where he was until I got my camera and took a couple of snaps of him. I think his Mum and Dad must have told him we were ok. They aren't even bothered when the dogs go out into the garden.
