Shaw Lodge Mill in Halifax was founded in the 1820’s and quickly became a world leader in textiles. The last loom fell silent in 2008 - but instead of falling into disrepair, it has been converted into many exciting and interesting uses - indoor football, artists space (see extra) and a dance studio amongst many others.
