Tree Serpent??

Although it was a bit chilly earlier, it's been a lovely day here with superb skies and - especially earlier - gloriously soft light.

I managed to get quite a promising 'Bird Blip' early on and, although it was a bit different, took my camera and headed to South Queensferry.

Ended up on the shore near the entrance to Hopetoun House and, with the light and clouds still on my side, got some nice shots towards the Forth Road and Rail Bridges, not so mention the ongoing work for the new road bridge that's under construction.

Was walking along the beach, thinking about heading back to the car, when I spotted this 'beastie' which was standing out really well.

It had all the look of a serpent of some kind, especially when viewed while lying on the sand. Took a few shots and decided to give it a go for today.
