Graftas award ceremony

A bit of a long day out today. 6.15 train to Euston for a visit to the London Wetlands Centre, and Natural England Awards ceremony for groups and individuals within the organisation to recognise outstanding achievement, with Mike, Fiona, Chris and Peter.
We had a tour around the wetland reserve, lunch, then the awards. The Gait Barrows Tuesday Volunteers were in for a group award, and got runners up (Fair Isle volunteers won). We had a great time and it was good to hear about so many great things going on.
Then back on the train again, and home by 8. Good old Virgin Trains!
