First Paddle of the season...

Had an appointment with the hip and knee clinic this afternoon....met with a few of the folks that will run the 8 week program they offer to help you prepare for surgery!   They were all so wonderful, and so i'll begin this course in a couple of weeks!!!

Then a bit of retail therapy...actually mostly food shopping!!!   and then into the dragon boat!   first time out this season and i was a bit concerned that my knee would give me some grief!  but it didn't and i managed just fine.  It was a glorious evening, sun setting, herons and eagles above....and the drum!  followed by dinner at the little chinese place around the corner!
