Castle Menzies, Aberfeldy

We had a day out to Aberfeldy starting with coffee at The Watermill Gallery and Bookshop, which is well worth a visit. After lunch we took in Castle Menzies which is the seat of theMenzies clan although the current Chief resides in Australia. It is not a grand castle filled with treasures and fancy furniture but it is full of odd little rooms and spaces all accessed from a spiral staircase. We finished our day with a walk in Weem Wood and a drive back via Loch Tay.
