Some Stuff.

Polruan

Today we drove to Fowey, to do a walk from the book that the owners lent to us.. When we parked, Dad made us some sandwiches in the boot, and we took a ferry across the river (without the car) to Bodinnick. We walked up the hill a bit and then had some cold drinks in a pub. We then had a look in a church converted from a barn, and then continued walking. It wasn't quite as hot as it was yesterday, but we were still grateful for the shade provided by the trees. At about half 1 we ate our lunch on a bench with a nice view of the river below us. After a while we crossed over and  started walking along by the sea. We had a nicer view of the cliffs and the sea, with a beach below us, however we no longer had the shade from the trees, although there was a cool breeze from time to time. We eventually made our way to Polruan, where we took another boat back to Fowey. This boat was just for people, unlike the other one, which confused us when we tried to spot it from further away when we were on the footpaths, as we were looking for a big boat with cars on it, like the other ferry. We walked around Fowey for a bit, Mum and me got ourselves from Ice cream, and we also bought some fudge and a loaf of rosemary bread. We had parked at about 11:40am and we only got back to the car at 5pm.
