Dashing about

A morning spent in Chelmsford town centre completing several tasks and achieving various goals, dashing about. The still-new Bond Street complex that includes John Lewis completely changes the face of Chelmsford as seen from the river.  Mum and Dad would be amazed. I don't think there is anything in today's photo that they would recognise as being the town in which they lived for most of their married lives. Even the river seems more green, more beautiful than the waters I remember as a child.

An afternoon and evening spent watching Wimbledon.  I feel exhausted just watching them - especially Henri Kontinen, who, with both the men and the mixed doubles matches must have been on court for more than six  hours for an astonishing performance of, well, fitness. (Wish you could lose weight just by watching.)
