Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty

After shopping in Tauranga this morning, we headed to Mt Maunganui. I couldn't get over how busy this wee town was - we had trouble finding a carpark!

Farmerboy and son T decided it was a great idea to walk to the top of the mountain - I had other ideas! Instead I walked around the bottom of the mountain, and although I didn't have many steps to climb, it took me just as long to do that as it did for them to go to the top and back!

Not sure where we are heading tomorrow - will most likely start heading back down the Island to catch the ferry at the end of the week.
