Beneath Biscay

Sunny Saturday morning

Well almost. Went out just after 12 to get a key cut. On the way back stopped to watch all the Saturday morning activity in the harbour. A swarm of dinghies setting out, a group of girls appearing to be playing 'how many on a paddleboard', a big tupperware yacht heading out, and a couple of catamarans, a red-cross inflateable heading in and a man trying out his expensive looking drone, to the consternation of a local seagull.  Then back via the Plaza del Marques with its feline fountain and into the Plaza Mayor where a wedding was taking place, while a young girl, straight from her first communion by the looks of it, posed for her parents' photos. Then back up towards home and a quick couple of shandies on the terrace of Los Marinos bar before going home for lunch.

Weather pleasant, mainly sunny but not too hot, unlike most of the rest of Spain which has been sweltering, in many places over 40 degrees C.

This afternoon taking the old car to the car wash and  off to buy then fit a new lock for our storeroom.
