We are a grandmother

Well ok, not really, but the eggs I blipped on Tuesday have hatched and are still captive.  I'm not actually sure what to do with them now as I feel a little responsible for their welfare, although as the offspring of the Large White Butterfly I know they are a serious garden pest.

We were told there might be a passing shower this morning but it was one that was prolonged and heavy and put paid to my walk.
