Eager Beaver...

Miserable wet weather here today so the planned trip to Newcastle was cancelled and I was faced with an afternoon of TV tennis, horse racing or roundy roundy racing aka F1 Grand Prix.  Ugh.

A rake in the bitsa box and I found a discarded Corgi Mercedes Benz/Plaxton Beaver model bus in an old Port Appin livery.  I had a few decals left over from the Leyland P Type rebuild and thought I could get another West Coast Motors modern vehicle out of them.

Four hours later and this was the result.  It's reasonably authentic as far as the livery goes but the registration is a guess and probably wrong!  

Only 2 hours to dinner time.  Bored.
