Louise - Changing Natures

First of the Blip Season

Regular followers if this journal will know this Rose as a familiar friend - it features every year, usually more than once.

It's the rose bush I planted in memory of my darling Mum - it was her favourite and she adored the colour. It's over 16 years old now and showing its age. I took a brave decision to reshape and prune hard at the end of the autumn - and I'm thrilled to see if worked. The bush is laden with blooms - hanging heavy today in the rain showers but that colour just glowing perfectly in the stormy dark light.

For you Mum. I understand you more as each year passes x
