Disappointing

Not the best of days weather-wise.  It’s chucked it down all day.  Disappointing!

That meant a day of reading.  I read a sports autobiography of a famous Australian cricketer, over 600 pages long and it was very disappointing.  It was a typical sports autobiography, we played this match, I scored this many runs, blah blah blah, all the stuff you already knew and no new insight.  All that time and effort into reading it, I feel cheated.

Other than that a quiet day, Venus Williams lost the Ladies Final at Wimbledon, which was a bit of a shock.
