School's Out

or to be more accurate, School's Not in Yet?

This is the site of the new Boroughmuir High School which is moving maybe 500 metres down from Viewforth to Fountainbridge, on the side of the canal. It was supposed to be handed over to the council in June, but is delayed until August, which is too close to the start of term so it will not open until January.

Usually our view of it shows an elevated cage type area, maybe 2 floor up, which I have to assume might be a sports court, but it looks like it is an urban prison where the inmates take their walkies and plan their escape! Hmmm... same thing then? Like their old school, there are no playing fields, although playtime on the canal might be interesting. It's looking nice, looking forward to seeing it.
