Extreme picnicking

I do a lot of 'extreme picnicking' during the Cambridge summer. Olives and humous are now staples. I had not eaten either until I moved to Cambridge aged 25 and am still surprised today when I see Cambridge teens snacking away on these items as if they're the most obvious things to reach for when filling your basket. Pork pies and Scotch eggs were certainly higher on the list when I was a teen and this would still be the case if I had free rein.

A group nearby on Jesus Green was practising circus skills, including a mega long tightrope stretched across one side of the green to the other. Mightily impressive agility being displayed.
