A NEW CALF....

... had another of the "bird walks" have been doing for the developer with new residents.

Another stunning winter's morning as we set off in search of bird activity.

And, we found quite a few out and about enjoying the cool sunny winters morning, BUT the hi light was finding what seemed to be a newborn calf. From the shaky walk and close care from mum, not wanting to get too close but looked as if it may have been born within last 24 hours.

We also found along the Redbank Creek the old rail bridge across the creek built in the 1920 era, for the Richmond to Kurrajong rail line which closed in 1952 after heavy rain caused line shift at Kurrajong. info here. Although had the big gun lens on still able to get a reasonable shot to show in extra.

The second extra a fly by from some Ibis

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE
