Mr. Eiger himself

We took our visitors to Grindewald to see Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. 
The town was so busy due to the Eiger Ultra Trail going on, runners running distances up to 101 km! 

Our hotel had problems with the booking system and was overbooked, and to make up for it they put us in this awesome huge holiday apartment in a big pretty wood house with a view to die for (see extra no. 1!).
Djeili loved the big garden and chasing for her ball in the surrounding meadow. 

Eiger & Co were a bit in hiding but appeared later. In the morning we saw three people on top of the Eiger!  
Extra no. 2 is of the Silberhorn which used to be indeed very silvery with snow piled up on all sides. Unfortunately you can see the snow go. In a few years they should rename it to "Grey Horn".
