The Scarecrow

We had our annual Open Day at the allotments, as part of the National Garden Scheme. This year it featured a scarecrow competition, with visitors voting for their favourite. There were some fantastic entries, but this was the winner. And on our plot, I am pleased to say, though I must hasten to add that I had nothing to do with her creation. She was all the work of Nicky, one of the four of us who have worked this plot for 35 years.
