Another spot of...

...Harrogate local history.

Following on from last week's Then & Now blip, I decided to complete the story by showing the view from the other end of the street. Last week, I took the photo from the bottom left corner of this picture, looking up to the church tower. There are many more vehicles in today's shot, on what is now a one-way street.

For today's picture, I was standing almost opposite that church tower, looking down the street. The buildings in the old picture constituted St Peter's School, between the church and the vicarage. This was almost certainly taken at the same time as last week's old image, but we have no record of the date.
