Ruddy Darter

Well over a hundred butterflies from ten different species on my butterfly transect this morning as well as lots of dragonflies including emperor, broad bodied chaser, ruddy darter and brown hawker. I had several attempts at photographing the brown hawker but it remains one of the few that I've still not managed. I've seen lots of ruddy darter this month and I'm thinking that this might be the subject of a new print when I finish my current tree project.
