Contraflow

It has long been known, that we are not alone in this Universe of ours. For decades, us mortal humans have co-existed with an alien life form, who have tried to bring chaos to our structured lives. This is the shed exoskeleton of one of those life forms. Having shed its outer form, the alien has adapted and adopted to go off into its new guise - the bar code. Mark my words, its total domination is nigh!
Seriously I always thought that cones took up new leases of life on top of statues or on the heads of inebriated fellows. I didn't realise how they could suffer.
