Awards

Miss I and I enjoyed a rewarding experience at the school this afternoon, in her case for attitude to learning and achievement in art. This was an unexpected delight as although she has put a lot of effort into her drawing, with pleasing results, she is an accomplished performer in maths and science, the latter being much more of a cert to attract an award!

The gentleman pictured with her, kindly provided the EXTRA bonus of signing Miss I's award, in the shape of a book of her choosing. His name is Cole Moreton an award-winning writer and broadcaster who spoke with eloquence and purpose, entertained the whole audience and shared the story behind his new book, The Boy Who Gave His Heart Away. Quite a thing, I can assure you. 

A fabulous afternoon, not to be missed. One of those never to be repeated experiences.
