Afternoon tea in the library

Ideally we would have done this yesterday and avoided a long drive back to Bantry but we were unable because of an event in the literary festival. So it was a bit of a crazy day, we drove along to the end of the Beare peninsula and took the cable car to Dursey Island and straight back. Then the utterly gorgeous drive from Allihies to Eyeries. After that back to Bantry House for the gardens and afternoon tea in the library which was just brilliant. We managed a paddle on the way home and had fish and chips for tea.
The weather still confounds expectations. The 5th perfect summers day in a row.
Tomorrow we move on to Killarney.
