Garden Glory

A dahlia, so I was told. One of many species. Please put me right if it is something else. Anyway it looked beautiful and bright. My extra is the young drummer boy in the Sea Cadets, mentioned yesterday, that I used to follow about. He would  practise on his mum's dustbin until she covered it over !  I ended up friends with him and his wife who was a singer in his dance band. Sadly, I couldn't sing in tune !
