Loch Fada, Colonsay

I was on Colonsay this morning and before my surgery I had to go across to Kilchattan which is on the other side of the island from the village of Scalasaig  where the hotel, the shop and the pier all are. 

On my way back I stopped to take this picture of Loch Fada in the perfect morning sunshine.  Cathleen then pointed out the flock of ducks that were making their way through the rushes and onto the water and I managed to get a few close ups of them, one of which is my first extra photo.

My second is a roe deer on the edge of our garden this evening, again in perfect sunshine.   It wandered about for ages and gave me the chance to grab the long lens and give it another outing.
