Altrincham 3 Chester FC 2

A lacklustre performance from Chester tonight and their first pre-season defeat. Altrincham didn't look two divisions below Chester and two of their goals were scored by ex Chester players. I've always had a soft spot for Altrincham and I hope they do well this season.

I took some action photos at Bala last night and three of them were used to illustrate the match report by the Chester Chronicle as I acted as their unofficial photographer. I performed the same role tonight but I don't think the pictures were as good although I like this one of Ryan Astles. I also captured the Chester penalty.
