Selfies from the Brink

Light Coming Through

... a tiny hole.
I decided to experiment a little with my glorious HOLGA pinhole lens on a chilly (18ºC) winter morning.
I took this one in our industrial district, just as the sun was rising. It captures the district's spirit well: It's falling apart. The only real factory we had (a shampoo manufacturer) has moved out of town. People have specialized on deindustrialization: the unmaking of human products. Junkyards are everywhere.

I know, it's another dark picture, but at least I can say something that I haven't read yet in any blip: It looks better small (i.e., on white background). Don't go large.
