Past their best

OK.  So I haven't gone away.  It's been a gloomy day and a few spots of mizzle later this afternoon suggested that the Met Service forecast is going to be - unfortunately - spot on.  Showers and rain up here, another hefty winter storm further south.  It didn't inspire me to want to go anywhere so I've stayed at home in front of the cosy fire.  

Like these camelias, I feel decidedly past my best today too.  Bring on the 'real' spring I say.  This time next hols T will be well into enjoying the joys of a Kiwi spring  :)  In the meantime though, we have the rest of winter to get through!
