Messing about with boats

Had a lovely day out on Lindisfarne. I was shocked by the hoards of visitors, some of them must have been disappointed to see the castle shrouded and closed for repairs.
I didn't mind, it meant I didn't get some of those dramatic images of sweeping beach lines with the castle but there is so much more to see. I love the wooden remains of an old jetty but they didn't looks so atmospheric in full sun so I've blipped you (with extras) a few boats, former and current. The old boat sheds are full of character and  wonderful curves.
