Time Passes Quickly!

This evening we were invited to a party, celebrating the 9th Anniversary, of a popular bar/ cafeteria/coffee shop in the village,
We were served these super looking complimentary cocktails, and tapas... yum!
It's amazing to us ... that this place had been open for 9 years ... it seems only yesterday...that this site was orange groves and almond trees! Having lived in the village for more than 30 years, you lose yourself in the passing of time!
The bar, most appropriately, is called 'The Universal'.... all nationalities were there this evening.... Norwegians are particularly important to the economy of the village.....as are the Dutch, Germans, Belgians, French and us British!!.... mustn't forget the Spanish!!
We recall ...The Universal ...being one of the first places in the village to provide us with reliable free WIFI ...... and 9 years ago that was VERY important!.... today they still provide a wide range of International newspapers and magazines, freely available to brouse, while sipping a morning coffee!
And, did I mention... their 'cafe con leche' is very good?!?
