Rousham House

l went to join a merry band of painters here today to spend some time turning something of this beautiful house and garden into a picture.  Easier said than done and probably the hardest thing to do was to sit and stop in one place .. there was so much that was lovely about the garden.. the choices were many.  l eventually sat down to draw the garden shed and doorway.. with the house in the background.. but no sooner than the paints came out.. the rain came down so it was not as long a visit as it might have been.  Fun anyway and a stunning garden to visit.. the perfume in the air was intoxicating.
