Unsung heroes

Reflecting on the recent Blip challenge around uniformed municipal workers, I thought about the even bigger army of people who volunteer for unpaid work in so many roles and places across the world.

I was glad to depict a tiny part of that here, as yesterday I presented a retirement gift to a long service volunteer for a charity with which I'm involved.
