Something's not quite right about this Weathervane

This weathervane has been in a neighbour's garden for years and I've often looked at it. However, when I decided to put it on my journal, something was odd about it. No doubt you will all notice it straight away. Thanks to blip for sharpening my senses ! It's been quite cloudy today, but now and again the sun burst through, so I waited a bit and my patience was rewarded with a bright blue sky for the background.
