Day breaks over the Heron Pond.

It was heavily overcast when I reached the park - then the sun broke through for about ten minutes.
Just before I took this photo the heron had caught a small duck - perhaps a large duckling. I shouted and ran towards it and, happily, he dropped the duck which managed to get away.
