A Country Girl

As you can see, I am back at my favourite place. The summer house! Yay!! This is our "Flammentanz" rose. It has been here since before mum was born. She claims. So it's super old, as you can imagine.

Since we were last here, several new types of berries have ripened, among them my Best Berry, the bilberry. In some areas, the flowers froze in May and there are no berries. In other areas however, there are loads of berries on the sprigs. I've picked and eaten plenty today, and also wild strawberries, raspberries and black currants. Happy!
