#coovan

Thunder and lightning to start the day, which meant heavy rain too.  It dried up for a while but heavy rain and showers continued this afternoon and evening.  Very calm tonight.

With the poor morning, it's been extremely busy on the museum desk, with nearly 900 visitors in today.  It was a poor day to visit Shetland, but two cruise liners came in, with 3,500 passengers.  Been down to Sumburgh for a run tonight but no weather for a walk.  Also popped by mam, and also nieces at sister Laura's.  It'll be a quiet night in with telly.  

A strange visit to the isles today from Visit Scotland and this Coo Van.  I love highland coos, they are always such cheery animals, so needless to say I like this genius coo van :)  I spoke to the man with the van, he's on the left, and he's hoping to find some coos for a photo :)  For more info, look up #coovan.  Taken in the car park at the Shetland Museum, Lerwick.
