Single bloom: Blanket Flower

Something simple for Flower Friday today. I had to research for the name of this flower and comparing this one, growing on my balcony, with a list of Botanical names, I found one called Gaillardia Grandiflora, commonly known as Blanket Flower.
The orange and yellow coloration is so bright and cheerful and the flower centre a myriad of interesting little filaments.
