It doesn't get tougher than this!

The next section of the South West Coastal path is described as severe and we had only planned to do half of it today. After walking up and down eight steep river valleys on a very windy day we were pleased we had made that choice. This was one of the brighter moments before the squally showers set in. We walked just under 12 miles today which took us another 7 hours in total but we did stop lots of times to catch our breadth. We had walked some of the route with our walking group over a year ago when we were here but it was easier taking things at our own pace. We did cross into Cornwall today. I am posting this on Friday morning and the weather doesn't look good today as we are holed up in our 13th Century pub.
