Cumbria Here I Come

By marpaul

Met up with derwentlass Ray and Rip today at Rutter Force waterfall near Appleby.   The old mill next to it has been converted into holiday accommodation.  Will have to remember to go back in the autumn as I think it will look fantastic with the autumn colours.  We did a lovely circular walk by the river and through fields and we actually managed to stay dry.  Afterwards we went to the tea room in Dufton for a bite to eat.  The two dogs got half a sausage!

On the way home the A66 to Penrith was jam packed and it took nearly two hours to get home instead of one hour!
